The golf balls have pictures of each of the alleged Tiger Woods girls, the New York Party girl Rachel Uchitel, the cocktail waitress Jaimee Grubbs, who sold her sordid story about bedding the golfing great to a scandal sheet - and provided photos and racy text messages to back up her tale, the porn star Joslyn James (Veronica Siwik-Daniels), who reportedly satisfied Woods' purported penchant for extremely kinky sex. And there are nine more balls in the "Mistress Collection" for the golfer with the dark sense of humor, said Mike Caldwell of Creative Classics. According to Mr. Caldwell, in just three days he has sold $40,000 worth of balls. "One order from Japan was for $15,000!" We all know the story about Tiger Woods' secret sex life and how it became a main stream media circus during Thanksgiving after he crashed his SUV into a tree, reportedly after his wife, Elin Nordegren, caught him texting Uchitel and chased him out of the house with a golf club. Inspiration struck Caldwell four days before Christmas and in 29 days he had a prototype in his hand. Mr. Caldwell said "I woke up and I was thinking, 'It's coming up on the year of the tiger,'" he said. "I thought, 'There's millions of golfers out there stunned by what's happening with Tiger and here's a product that will get them all to laugh.'" Now Caldwell is selling a set of 12 balls "for play" for $44.95. Wow! There you have it. All you need is a news story, an idea, and some follow through and you can put together a product that people will buy. |
