Brad Wesley is a great example of demanding that people beneath Respect Your Cowboy.  Brad's only mission in life is to have control over the town where he lives.  Dalton comes in to clean up the Double Deuce and all of the sudden the people in town want to test Brad.  Anybody that calls their grandfather an "asshole" has to be a Cowboy.  In this scene Brad explains the Cowboy's mantra "Gather Unto Me What Is Mine."

Get too friendly with a Cowboy and your bound to get dealt with. This scene epitomizes the intensity that most Cowboy's bring to any situation. It's kill or be killed out there Friendo.

After taking the porn industry by storm, both Dirk and Reed fell victim to rampant drug abuse.  That didn't stop these two Cowboys from recognizing that after you have some success at something its nothing wrong with reinventing yourself.  These two decided to take over the music industry and they were on to something.  In this first clip we see that Dirk was "born ready" to be a singer.  More importantly, we should all learn from Reed's sense of loyalty.  Every Cowboy should be loyal to their fellow Cowboy the way Reed is to Dirk even if it means you are loyal to your own detriment.
