The Da Silvano Italian restaurant in Greenwich Village is a hip place to get authentic Tucson cuisine. It was one of the first New York Italian restaurants to offer Tucson specialties with a modern twist. This eatery is always busy and offers a large sidewalk café to enjoy wine and great cuisine whilst watching the people pass by. Many celebrities dine here whenever they are in the Big Apple.
Silvano opened the doors to his restaurant in 1975 and still oversees the staff, menu and kitchen today. His innovative style and culinary talents makes this a place to enjoy some unique Italian Tucson inspired dishes. When he first opened the restaurant it had only four tables in the front room. Today there are two dining rooms, a spacious sidewalk café and also an annex called Da Silvano Cantinetta, which is next door.
